Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Oregon Respiratory Therapist license required
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC certification
• Experience with bubble CPAP, ABG, and ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP management

Assignment Details

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Weekend requirement is variable
• Holiday requirement applies
• Majority of the time you will work alone
• Coverage includes the entire hospital, primarily FBC, ER, MS, and CCU
• Experience with all age groups is needed
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Ventilator equipment includes Draeger vents, V60 for BiPAP, ResMed for CPAP, and Vapotherm for high flow
