More about our team: Join our team is a Registered Nurse Medical Surgical RN where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care How you'll contribute * Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. * Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. * Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. * Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. * Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Exposure: Regular occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials. * Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements Why Join Us: We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. License: /Certifications: * Current RN license in state of practice * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
