About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Strategic Partnerships & Growth to lead the launch of a new division focused on expanding the organization's impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for external relationship strategy, cultivation, and maintenance, with a key role in serving as a primary external relationship officer. This includes designing and leading a comprehensive partnership strategy, managing a robust pipeline of opportunities, and stewarding existing partners. The VP will also be involved in pitching, proposal development, and partner stewardship, as well as setting the strategic tone for the company's brand and overseeing its execution across various channels. A significant aspect of the role is division leadership, which involves managing a team, establishing KPIs, and contributing to the organization's strategic planning. Applicants for the VP of Strategic Partnerships & Growth role at the company should be seasoned professionals with a minimum of 7 years' experience in strategic partnerships, business development, sales, or revenue-generating roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing and stewarding high-value relationships, be adept at both leading a team and managing their own portfolio, and possess strong pitching and presentation skills. A background in for-profit, private sector, or nonprofit environments is welcome, with a preference for those familiar with health systems, corporate social responsibility, education, or youth-serving sectors. The role requires a genuine belief in the power of near-peer mentorship, a passion for health equity, and youth development, as well as proficiency in CRM platforms and a data-driven approach to relationship management. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a Master's degree or equivalent advanced training is preferred.
