Your Day With Us Here's a taste of what you'll be doing: Working right alongside the dentist during restorative and general procedures — fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, dentures, and more Taking and processing digital X-rays and intraoral photos Getting operatories ready and keeping our instruments sparkling through the full sterilization cycle Keeping us safe and compliant with infection control and OSHA — including autoclave operation and spore-test logging Taking impressions and digital scans, and prepping models when needed Keeping patient charts up to date (a little Dentrix know-how is a nice bonus!) Walking patients through what to expect and helping them feel calm and cared for Teaming up with our front desk and hygiene crew to keep the day running smoothly Is This You? The must-haves: Florida Dental Radiography certification (or ready to earn it soon) Current CPR / BLS certification Solid chairside and four-handed assisting skills A warm, patient manner — especially with our older adult patients Someone reliable, detail-oriented, and a real team player Even better (but not required): A year or more of clinical assisting experience EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) or CDA credential Experience with Dentrix and digital X-rays/scanning Comfort with restorative and denture workflows Don't check every box?
