Wentworth by the Sea is currently accepting applications for Front Desk Agent. As part of the first 10 minutes of a guest's experience, the Front Desk Agents are responsible for making lasting first impressions, starting with the warm welcome/welcome back, owning each interaction and representing the company as if it were their own. In addition to undertaking various procedural and administrative duties, dealing with and diffusing conflict or tension is also a critical skill we are looking for.

Front Desk Agent Responsibilities

• Greeting Guests
• Recognizing guests who are VIPs or returning
• Administering check-ins and check-outs
• Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties
• Delivering mail and messages
• Processing payments
• Coordinating with bell staff as well as management
• Providing information to guests
• Accommodating requests
• Diffusing tense situations

Successful candidates for Front Desk Agent should possess:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Time management and organizational skills
• Conflict resolution experience
• Patience and good listening skills
