Job Title

Travel RN – Adult Intensive Care Unit (3x12's - Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Commitment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and care for critically ill adult patients in a 30-bed intensive care unit
• Manage care of septic patients, mechanically ventilated patients, and patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other inpatient areas as needed when home unit is at low census

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated comprehensive assessment skills
• Experience caring for mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Experience caring for septic patients
• Must pass EKG test prior to placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Prior experience with Epic EMR
