About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Experience managing dysrhythmias - Skilled in non-invasive airway management - Proficiency in telemetry monitoring Description: This role is within a general medical-surgical floor. The nurse will be responsible for patient care, including those awaiting facility placement. Floating to telemetry units is required. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical surgical setting is required. Travel experience is preferred but not necessary. Local candidates within a specified radius are not accepted. Candidates must present any required time-off requests at the time of submission. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios on the day shift will include 5 patients per nurse. Staffing support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. This position requires compliance with various competencies and exams for onboarding. Candidates must have experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias. Some modules related to specialties are billable and are completed during the orientation period.
