About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 11, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM; block scheduling available but not guaranteed

Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive unit layout: 40 acute beds, 2 triage, 6 super track, 2 trauma bays, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 behavioral health beds
• High-acuity case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialized equipment exposure including Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun temperature management system
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred; floating required as needed

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted New York RN license (all RN licenses must be verified through NURSYS)
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient exposure
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC must be current at time of submission)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
