Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients using linear accelerator systems and verify patient positioning per protocol
- Operate radiation therapy equipment, perform required quality assurance checks, and monitor machine performance
- Collaborate with the radiation oncologist, medical physicist, dosimetrist, and nursing staff to ensure accurate treatment delivery
- Use imaging guidance (IGRT) to achieve precise treatment alignment and document treatment details in the electronic medical record
- Monitor patient safety and comfort; respond to patient needs and educate patients and families about treatment processes and potential side effects
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and inventory as needed

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program or equivalent clinical training
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or eligibility; adherence to state licensing requirements as applicable
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital clinical setting and follow established protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach
- Basic familiarity with linear accelerator operation, imaging modalities, and ALARA principles
- Willingness to participate in credentialing onboarding and ongoing assignment-specific training
