Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid SLP license in the state of Missouri
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
• Background in pediatrics, especially within school or healthcare settings
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication devices preferred
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative service delivery
• Compassionate, flexible approach to working with students facing significant communication challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, focusing on those with limited or no verbal communication
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Train and support staff and families on the use of communication devices and strategies
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and update goals as needed
• Participate actively in meetings, parent conferences, and professional development to ensure comprehensive care
