Creative Home Academy in Memphis, TN is looking for one lead infant teacher to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 1149 Semmes Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable. Retention bonus is offered of $300.00- $2000.00 exclusions apply.

Creative Home Academy in Memphis, TN is looking for one infant daycare teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Position Overview

The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

Physical Requirements

Be able to lift 35 pounds.

Mobility required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED, Pass Background check, CDA in Infant and Toddlers preferred, TECTA in Infant and Toddlers required.
• AA Degree in Early Childhood Education is a PLUS.
• BA or BS in a related field of Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
