Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Salem, Massachusetts, within a psychiatric unit. This role involves providing mental health care to adult patients aged 18-65 with diverse psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and dual diagnoses involving detoxification and medical needs. Candidates are required to bring their active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of two years of inpatient adult psychiatric nursing experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts for Day Rotation (7 a.m. - 7 p.m., 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., and 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.) within a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications Required: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Required Qualifications: Two years minimum of inpatient adult psychiatric nursing experience; proficiency in using automatic medication dispensing systems (OmniCell); skilled in psychotropic medications and their side effects; capable of assuming charge nurse responsibilities; experienced in completing patient admissions and discharges; competent in the use of IV pumps and diabetic patient care
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health record systems such as EPIC
• Float: Float rotation may be required
