Local Miles What You'll Do as a Class A Delivery Driver (Job Duties)

Operate a Class A CDL vehicle, including a 26? box truck, for local daily deliveries. Safely transport and deliver HVAC equipment to customer locations while following all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Load, unload, and handle touch freight using equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies. Maneuver heavy HVAC materials weighing up to 70 lbs. throughout the delivery process. Complete daily delivery routes while ensuring accurate and timely product delivery. Inspect vehicle and equipment before and after routes to ensure safe operation. Secure freight properly and verify loads are handled according to safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or issues. Provide professional customer service during deliveries and assist with product placement as needed. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle.
