About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related field required License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Experience in robotic, orthopedic, trauma, general/gyn, urology, some ENT, some plastic, pain management, some ophthalmology, neuro/spine, and vascular procedures. Description: The position is for the Main Operating Room. Call is required for one weekday and one weekend per month. Candidates must have experience with XI robotic surgeries. Experience with a variety of surgical procedures is essential. Specific skills include abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomy, general surgery, and more. Experience with both adult and pediatric patient care is preferred. Travel experience is required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience in a community hospital and LTAC setting is mandatory. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are necessary. Charting experience with Cerner is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with infection control protocols and safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and safety. Candidates will manage patient interactions during surgical procedures and assist the surgical team as needed.
