Job Description
CT Technologist - Radiology

Schedule

Shift: 4x10 Nights - 2000-0630 (rotating days off). Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 40/week.

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification in hand at time of submittal.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years CT experience preferred.
• Experience with PACS and contrast administration.
• Knowledge of CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Preferred skills: Siemens scanner experience, IV starts, portables, aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, drainage, transplant studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance and quality control of imaging equipment.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). RTO policy allows a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract; all requests must be finalized at submission with no additional requests allowed after submission.
