Business Development Representative

Base Salary: $50,000 + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses Benefits: Health Benefits, Paid Time Off, Car Allowance, Cell Phone Allowance, and More HireQuest Direct is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to grow our staffing business throughout the Birmingham to Montgomery territory. If you enjoy building relationships, prospecting new business, and controlling your own income through uncapped commissions, we'd love to hear from you. This is a field-based sales role where you'll spend the majority of your day meeting with business owners, project managers, and decision-makers across a variety of industries. What You’ll Do Develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person prospecting Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the Birmingham to Montgomery market Sell staffing solutions for construction, hospitality, manufacturing, warehouse, events, light industrial, and general labor clients Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to understand workforce needs Generate new accounts while growing existing client relationships Prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close new business Work closely with recruiters and branch operations to ensure exceptional customer service Meet and exceed weekly sales activity and revenue goals Represent HireQuest professionally within the local business community Qualifications Outside sales or business development experience preferred Staffing industry experience is a plus but not required Experience selling to construction, industrial, hospitality, or commercial businesses is highly preferred Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting Valid driver's license and reliable transportation $50,000 annual base salary Uncapped commission Performance bonuses Paid time off Ongoing training and professional development Career advancement opportunities within a growing national staffing company Why HireQuest?
