Job Summary
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the St. Louis area. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care within a specialized orthopedic unit, utilizing nursing processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility committed to high standards of care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0730, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (meeting Missouri licensure requirements or licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from AHA, 2 years of experience in orthopedic inpatient care, location within Missouri, and a minimum of 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification from AHA
• Additional Information: The RN will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, monitor patient progress, and coordinate with other departments. The role requires dependability, teamwork, and flexibility. Night orientation occurs on day shift, and the traveler must be available during the entire week for orientation. The position may require float to similar or lower acuity units as needed, and work in a fast-paced environment handling post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
