Plum Diamonds is an independent, women-owned fine jewelry brand specializing in lab-grown diamond engagement rings, wedding bands and custom jewelry. We believe buying a ring should feel exciting, personal and genuinely enjoyable, with beautiful craftsmanship and real humans who care about getting every detail right. We're looking for a creative, visually driven Content & Social Media Manager to bring our brand to life. Yes, we need gorgeous jewelry photography. We create incredible custom rings every day, and we want someone who can capture them beautifully. But what really sets Plum apart is our personality, our people and the experience we create for our clients. We want to take our audience behind the scenes, introduce them to our team, bring our founders’ personalities to life, share our expertise and capture the funny, spontaneous moments that make Plum, Plum. We're looking for someone with a great eye, excellent creative instincts and a camera that’s never too far away. Someone who sees content opportunities everywhere and knows when to make something beautifully polished and when to let a spontaneous moment speak for itself. What you'll do: Create beautiful, original photography and video for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and other social platforms. Photograph our newest engagement rings, custom designs and fine jewelry regularly, highlighting the details and craftsmanship of each piece. Shoot and edit Reels, TikToks, Stories and other short-form videos, balancing polished product content with fun, personality-driven storytelling. Develop and produce founder-led content, working closely with our founders to share their expertise, perspectives, personalities and behind-the-scenes moments. Bring fresh content ideas to the table, from product launches and client stories to everyday office moments, trends and unexpected opportunities. Own our organic social media calendar, including content planning, writing captions, scheduling, publishing and community engagement. Be an active, approachable voice for Plum across our social channels, responding to comments and messages with warmth, personality and a genuine interest in our community. Build relationships with our followers, recognize our biggest fans and turn everyday conversations into opportunities for connection. Keep an ear to the ground for questions, trends and conversations that spark new content ideas and help us better understand our audience. Monitor social performance, identify what's resonating and continually experiment with new formats and ideas. Collaborate with our ecommerce marketing team, creators and outside production partners to support campaigns and larger brand initiatives. What we’re looking for: Exceptional photography skills and a strong eye for lighting, composition, styling and detail. Experience photographing jewelry, fashion, beauty or other visually driven products is a plus. Strong video production and editing skills, particularly for short-form social content. Proficiency with professional photography equipment and editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar tools. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to capture Plum's warm, knowledgeable and occasionally cheeky personality. Hands-on experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok, with an understanding of what makes people stop scrolling. Comfortable and confident on camera, serving as one of the faces of Plum and bringing our brand's personality to life. Strong organizational skills, creative initiative and the ability to move quickly from an idea to finished content. A collaborative, resourceful attitude and the confidence to pitch ideas, experiment and take creative ownership. Most importantly, you're a natural storyteller who's always looking for your next great content idea. You're equally comfortable spending time getting the perfect photograph of a diamond and grabbing your phone to capture something hilarious happening in the office. You don't need to be a jewelry expert when you arrive. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
