NYC Licensed DOB Site Safety Coordinator in New York

Job Description Our Site Safety Company based in NYC is seeking a highly qualified Licensed NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator to oversee safety measures for a project located in New York City. Ideal candidate must hold a valid NYC DOB SSC license as well as an FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager license. Candidate must be in good physical shape as the job requires them to be active. Responsibilities Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary corrective actions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements as needed. Train site personnel on safety procedures and maintain accurate safety records. Serve as a liaison between the project team and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Qualifications Previous experience as a Site Safety Coordinator. Valid NYC DOB SSC license and FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager License. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NYC building codes. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Good physical condition and ability to move around the site comfortably.
