The Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in supporting operations and project teams by procuring materials, rentals, deliveries and services necessary for the successful execution of commercial landscaping construction projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, rental equipment, tools, and services.

• Solicit and evaluate vendor quotes.

• Create, process, and track purchase orders through completion.

• Coordinate material deliveries to project sites and company facilities.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.

• Monitor order status, resolve delivery issues, and communicate any delays.

• Verify pricing, quantities, and specifications against project requirements and contracts.

• Assist with inventory monitoring and planning.

• Review and reconcile purchasing documentation, invoices, and receiving records.

• Assist in negotiating pricing agreements and favorable terms with vendors.

• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

• Track orders and inventory and keep track of locations of delivered goods for future use.

• Schedule, receive, accept and confirm deliveries and orders as required.

• Retrieve and coordinate with field for T&M work and CO paperwork.

• Obtain delivery slips from field and verify with purchases and code accordingly.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or construction coordination experience.

• Experience in commercial construction, landscaping, or a related industry preferred.

• Strong understanding of purchasing and procurement processes.

• Strong experience in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.

• Understanding of construction submittal process.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Experience with accounting, or construction management software preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience purchasing construction materials and coordinating job site deliveries.

• Knowledge of building and or landscaping products.

• A plus if have a familiarity with Sage, Procore, or similar software platforms.
