Our Company is looking for long-term employees that we can invest in and grow with as we pursue our mission of being the premier commercial truck dealer group.The Inside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for driving parts sales and supporting customer uptime by delivering accurate, timely, and professional service to both internal and external customers. This role owns the full transaction process, from identifying the correct part and confirming availability, to invoicing, payment collection, and managing returns, cores, and warranty claims.Success in this role requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and responsiveness directly impact revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the counter and over the phone, delivering timely, accurate, and professional serviceIdentify correct parts using electronic catalogs and business systems, ensuring accuracy, and minimizing errors or returnsProvide pricing, availability, and sourcing options, including in-stock, inter-branch, and emergency ordersDrive parts sales by proactively recommending related items, alternatives, and solutions to meet customer needsProcess invoices and collect payment accurately and efficientlyManage returns, cores, and warranty claims in accordance with company and vendor requirements, ensuring proper documentation and recovery of creditsMaintain organized and accurate inventory through proper binning, stocking, and housekeeping standardsSupport parts inventory control by identifying discrepancies, shortages, and slow-moving or obsolete partsMaintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready counter and retail display areaParticipate in ongoing training to build product knowledge and stay current on supplier offeringsSupport promotional efforts and customer outreach to drive parts sales and customer retentionRepresent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner at all timesMinimum Qualifications:18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:2 to 3 years of customer-facing sales experience, preferably in a dealership or heavy-duty parts environmentExperience with dealership management systems (Karmak, CDK, Procede)Strong working knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and componentsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsMental Capability Requirements:Comprehension: Ability to understand complex problems, collaborate, and explore alternative solutions.Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on short-term basis (more than 1 month).Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to make decisions with moderate impact on immediate work unit.Communication: Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, loudly, and quickly.Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, record, balance, and check results for accuracy.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
