Your Daily Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and constructing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently (aligned with your credentials)
• Guiding patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and implementing therapies in accordance with your skills
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing long-term care
• Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and cohesive care
• Meticulously documenting all care activities within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within the first 90 days)
