Position Overview for Account Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager: We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to drive business development and expand customer relationships within the Phoenix market. This role requires a strong sales background in industrial sealing, with a focus on Aerospace & Defense and Semiconductor sectors. Candidates must be Phoenix-based or willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities of Account Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager: Sales & Territory Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share. Manage a territory with projected revenue of $2–3M initially, with growth potential up to $7–8M. Client Relationship Management: Build long‑term relationships with key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor. Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, leveraging technical expertise in sealing materials. Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on FKM, FFKM, NBR, gaskets, and related sealing solutions. Collaborate with engineering to deliver customized solutions. Customer Engagement: Conduct frequent customer visits, ensuring strong presence in the Phoenix area. Minimum office presence: 3x/week for first 90 days; 1x/week thereafter. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge. Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (engineering, R&D, customer service) to support client solutions and strategic initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications of Account Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager: Proven sales experience in industrial sealing or related engineering products. Distribution background preferred but not required. Strong understanding of materials (FKM, FFKM, NBR, gaskets). Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in Aerospace & Defense and Semiconductor sectors. Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills. Highly motivated, results‑driven, and adaptable.
