Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.About the Team:The Enterprise Solutions and Experience team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in test automation and Salesforce platform testing to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, validating Salesforce implementations, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across Salesforce and integrated enterprise applications. You will collaborate with a highly skilled and diverse group of individuals across the company and around the globe to address our top customer needs.About the Role:The candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing using tools such as Provar, Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks, along with strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Experience, Apex, Flows, and integrations. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and Salesforce administrators to design automated tests, validate business processes, and support high-quality releases.Key Responsibilities:Test AutomationDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test scripts.Implement UI, API, integration, and regression test automation.Develop automation solutions using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and reporting mechanisms.Salesforce TestingValidate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.Test Salesforce configurations including:o Objectso Flowso Validation Ruleso Apex Classeso Triggerso Lightning Web Components (LWC)o Visualforce PagesVerify Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.Perform data validation and end-to-end business process testing.Support UAT and release validation activities.Quality EngineeringParticipate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Salesforce Administrators.Drive quality best practices throughout the SDLC.Required Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.6+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.4+ years of hands-on Salesforce testing experience.Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and business processes.Experience testing Salesforce Lightning applications.Strong SQL and data validation skills.Salesforce CPQ knowledgeSalesforce knowledge & Professional Services domain expertiseAPI automation (REST-assured, Postman)SQL/data validation across PSA & ERP systemsOpen-source automation frameworks: Selenium, PlaywrightCI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), programming (Java/Python/JS)Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure test coverage and delivery qualityStrong understanding of the professional services domain and Salesforce ecosystemFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Software Test Life Cycle, Bug Life CycleFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and test orchestrationPreferred Qualifications:Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.Experience with Salesforce automation testing tools such as ProvarKnowledge of performance and security testing.Company Overview:UKG is the Workforce Operating Platform that puts workforce understanding to work. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
