Sales Estimator

This Sales Estimator opportunity offers a balanced mix of office estimating and on-site field work, supporting commercial install, renovation, and service projects from $5K to $400K. Based in Chicago with a 30-mile radius of downtown coverage, it’s a great place to build your career and grow with a team! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sales Estimator position include: 3-5+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system installation, renovation, and testing in a commercial setting, with estimating and sales experience required. Strong understanding of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 codes, with the ability to apply that knowledge to estimates and proposals. Proven track record in sales and business development, including networking, canvassing, and leveraging existing relationships. Ability to estimate project costs, prepare detailed proposals, and deliver accurate quotes for installation and service work. Client relationship management skills, including building relationships with key decision-makers for repeat business. Project oversight mindset, collaborating with internal teams to support on-time, on-budget completion and regulatory/safety standards. Familiarity with union environments is essential for smooth operations and working relationships (union membership not required). Experience with ServiceTrade or similar software is preferred.
