This role is responsible for driving occupancy growth through relationship-building, community outreach, tours, follow-up systems, and exceptional family experiences. The Marketing Director partners closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to strengthen census growth, referral partnerships, community reputation, and overall community energy. This is not a passive desk role. This is a relationship-driven leadership position for someone who is proactive, organized, compassionate, and motivated by impact.Key ResponsibilitiesCensus Growth & SalesConduct community tours with prospective residents and familiesManage and maintain lead follow-up systemsSupport inquiry-to-move-in conversion effortsAssist with move-in coordination and family communicationMaintain accurate census and prospect trackingCommunity Outreach & NetworkingBuild and maintain relationships with: hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospice providers, case managers, social workers, community organizationsRepresent the community at networking and outreach eventsDevelop referral partnerships within the local marketMarketing & Community PresenceSupport community marketing initiatives and eventsAssist with social media and community visibility effortsHelp maintain a welcoming, professional community presentationIdentify opportunities to improve reputation and engagementLeadership & Operations SupportPartner with the Executive Director and department leaders on census strategyCommunicate barriers, opportunities, and market feedback proactivelySupport a positive and collaborative team cultureDemonstrate urgency, professionalism, and accountability dailyQualificationsSenior living, healthcare, sales, marketing, hospitality, or relationship management experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build trust quickly with families and referral partnersOrganized and detail-orientedSelf-motivated with strong follow-throughComfortable networking and engaging with the publicAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer and communication technology proficiency requiredValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredThe Ideal CandidateYou may be a great fit if you: naturally take ownership, bring solutions instead of excuses, communicate early and clearly, follow through consistently, thrive in relationship-based environments, stay calm under pressure, build trust quickly, bring positive energy into a room, care deeply about people, operate with urgency and professionalism, want to help build something meaningful.We are looking for someone who is: relational but accountable, compassionate but driven, organized but adaptable, professional but approachable.We are not looking for someone who waits to be managed.
