Health & Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the implementation of safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsProvide training and guidance to site personnel on safety-related mattersAssist in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresAssist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plansAssist in developing and maintaining safety policies and proceduresMonitor industry trends and changes in regulations and adapt programs and policies as neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in a safety role, with experience in the construction industry preferredOSHA 10OSHA 30/STSCTrenching/Excavation, Confined Space and Fall Protection experienceStrong understanding of safety principles and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in developing and implementing safety programsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
