Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves working primarily in an acute care facility with exposure to various specialties including orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers mainly 8:30 shift hours with variable scheduling. Previous OR experience and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse
• Location: Santa Rosa, California
• Shift: Variable shifts, mainly 8:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA state license (pending acceptance of license is accepted), 1 year of OR experience, Certification in BLS, experience with Epic charting system, and completion of specific charting experience in Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ambulatory OR, ankle fusion, ACL reconstruction, and other listed surgical procedures.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted hospital. Refusal to float may impact employment. Travelers must be willing to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. SSN, DOB, and RTO information must be included at submission. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
• Certifications: Valid CA license and BLS certification.
• Experience: 1 year in operating room nursing.
• Schedule: Mainly 8:30 shifts with variable scheduling, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements: Copies of certifications, references, and compliance with holiday work and floating policies are mandatory.
