Responsibilities Lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of multi‑phase features and tools with high business impact, ensuring stability and usability. Collaborate closely with Product Design, Product Management, and cross‑functional engineering teams to align on priorities and technical solutions. Act as a subject‑matter expert in Golang development and quality standards, influencing internal teams and the external community. Assess and break down large projects across multiple teams, evaluating trade‑offs to maintain project momentum and alignment. Spot potential technical issues before they happen and recommend improvements to maintain quality, efficiency, and productivity. Stay current on industry trends and best practices, advancing their adoption within the team and across the organization. Advocate for technical roadmaps that enhance organizational performance and participate in system‑wide debugging, maintenance, and production support. Mentor and empower teammates through technical guidance, code reviews, and pair programming. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). 10+ years of experience as an engineer. Professional experience developing with modern programming languages and frameworks; interest in Golang and Ruby. Experience with distributed systems and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security. Strong conflict‑resolution skills, proactively identifying and addressing technical and project‑related challenges. Organizational skills and awareness of team dynamics; able to guide technical decisions to support short‑ and long‑term objectives. Innovative thinker who can identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that enhance technical roadmaps, processes, and methodologies. Mentoring experience through code and design reviews, pair programming, and coaching peers. Experience collaborating with internal teams, customers, and external community to design solutions based on requirements and customer needs. Preferred Qualifications Experience using HashiCorp secure products such as Vault, Radar, and Boundary. Familiarity with domain‑driven design (DDD). Self‑motivated with a passion for delivering the highest quality solution and continuous self‑improvement. Enjoys mentoring others and pursues continuous learning.
