THIS POSTING IS FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFTS FOR A NAPLES, LONG BEACH CLIENT: 12AM - 8AM, 2-5 NIGHTS PER WEEK

IMMEDIATE SHIFTS AVAILABLE! Please apply only if you are current on the HCA Registry and have a TB test within the past 90 days.

We will respond to job applications which include HCA PER ID number and date of TB test.

Responsibilities of a Caregiver / Home Care Aide include:

• Assist client with activities of daily living, primarily offering standby assist to prevent falls during the night. Provide joyful companionship, emotional support, and medication reminders to client in the morning.

• Help with small, home-based projects (e.g. organizing, tidying up)

• Monitor and report clients’ daily activities and changes in client's health or behavior.

• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for client.

Qualifications of a Caregiver:

• Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal), providing assistance with personal care, companionship, and activities of daily living.

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential job duties, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs, and assisting clients with mobility.

• Able to speak, read, and write English and communicate effectively with the office team members.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must be current on the California Home Care Aide Registry.

• Reliable transportation.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Tuberculosis (TB) test required prior to working with clients (within previous 90 days or within 7 days of hiring or within 2 years is coming from another home care agency).
