This medical center is a well-supported community hospital featuring a 99-bed department with a Level 3 trauma designation and Level 2 pediatric capabilities. The facility offers comprehensive support services including 24-hour availability of anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, cardio-thoracic surgery, and laboratory services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide adult inpatient hospitalist services with 23-30 patient encounters per shift
• Preferred schedule of 10 consecutive 24-hour shifts with adequate time for rest
• Manage adult inpatient care including ICU level patients
• Perform and manage non-invasive and invasive ventilation including acute and chronic cases
• Perform intubation (ENT/INT)
• Perform EKG interpretation
• Must be willing to enroll and provide proof of PCF - this is a required facility requirement
• Active New Mexico medical license required - providers must be licensed in NM only
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Provider must reside 90+ miles from facility
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
• Locum Tenens assignment - ASAP start with ongoing need

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
