Resident Overnight Retreat Lead

Soul Reset is seeking a grounded, dependable, and compassionate person to serve as our Resident Overnight Retreat Lead. This is a live-in position at our therapeutic retreat in Austin and includes a private furnished room, meals, and additional compensation based on the final schedule.

The Overnight Retreat Lead provides a calm, reassuring presence in the home during evening and overnight hours. This is not a traditional high-activity overnight position. Once evening responsibilities are complete and clients have settled for the night, there is generally substantial quiet and personal time. However, the Retreat Lead must remain onsite and be available to respond promptly if a client needs assistance or an unexpected situation arises.

Schedule

The scheduled overnight period is 6:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m., approximately 5 nights per week. The position requires living onsite at the retreat. Specific working, on-call, personal, and sleep periods will be clearly defined in the employment agreement.

Primary Responsibilities

· Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment for retreat clients overnight

· Serve dinner and help create a warm, welcoming evening atmosphere

· Clean and reset the kitchen so it is fully prepared for the morning team

· Complete a brief evening check-in and ensure clients are settled

· Remain onsite and available during designated overnight hours

· Respond appropriately to client needs and follow established safety procedures

· Communicate relevant overnight information to the morning team

· Protect client privacy and maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality

· Follow all Soul Reset household, clinical-safety, and emergency protocols

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in behavioral health, social services, hospitality, residential care, wellness, education, or a related setting

· Strong judgment and clear communication skills

· Ability to respond calmly and follow protocol during an unexpected situation

· Current CPR/First Aid and HIPAA certification, or willingness to obtain it

· Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality

· Successful completion of references, background screening, and any other required pre-employment checks

Compensation and Living Arrangement

This position includes:

This is an employment-based residential arrangement rather than a traditional rental or roommate arrangement. The selected candidate will receive clear written agreements covering compensation, residency, scheduling, confidentiality, household expectations, and the conclusion of employment.
