Ultrasound Tech - Vascular JOB SUMMARY Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist specializing in vascular imaging to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions in adult patients. The technologist will work in a clinic setting, with potential for floating between multiple clinic locations. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the vascular system, including arterial and venous studies. Utilize Doppler, Duplex, and Color Flow imaging techniques to assess blood flow and identify abnormalities. Conduct specialized vascular studies such as Aorta, Carotid, Renal Artery Duplex, Dialysis grafts, and Peripheral Vascular Resistance assessments. Perform Lower and Upper Extremity Arterial and Venous studies, including mapping and graft evaluations. Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including Philips EPIQ Elite and VENA PULSE. Accurately document patient information and examination findings in the electronic medical record system. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Participate in clinic orientation and training as required. Schedule / Shift 40 Hours per week offered. 13-week contract duration. Shift: 8-Hour Days, 08:00 - 17:00. No call requirements. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required. Experience with Adult patient population. Proficiency in Vascular Skills including: Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Dialysis grafts, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Lower Extremity Venous, Peripheral Vascular Resistance, Renal Artery Duplex, Upper Extremity Arterial & Upper Extremity Venous. Knowledge of Isolation Precautions/PPE. Experience with FLO LAB PARKS. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Vascular Skills including: Arterial Graft Studies, Arterial mapping & Stents. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications ARDMS RVT ARDMS VT CCI RVS Experience Minimum 2 Years of Ultrasound Technician Experience required. Clinic setting experience preferred. Traveler experience is welcomed. Skills Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and physiology. Proficient in performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound examinations. Excellent diagnostic imaging skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. EMR / Systems EPIC required. Patient Population Adult. Unit / Specialty Vascular Ultrasound. Floating / On-Call Yes, must be willing to float between 2 clinic locations. Floating may include NH Vascular Specialists (approximately 11.4 miles/17 minutes away). Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays at NH Vascular Specialists; Wednesday and Thursday at Heart & Vascular - High Point. No weekend requirements. No on-call requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
