Role Overview ChemTreat, a Veralto company, is the nation’s largest specialty chemical business focused on industrial water treatment. The Buyer reports to the Direct Delivery Supervisor and works with Corporate Services, Logistics, Accounts Payable, Strategic Procurement, and other Direct Delivery Buyers to place purchase orders (POs) with ChemTreat’s supply base, ensuring delivery of chemicals, equipment, and services that meet customers’ needs. Key Responsibilities Process and manage daily purchase orders generated from sales orders for accurate and timely fulfillment. Execute order fulfillment activities supporting revenue recognition, on‑time shipment, and transactional accuracy. Monitor and support vendor performance metrics in partnership with the Procurement Manager and Category Managers. Drive continuous improvement through visual daily management (+QDIP), KPIs, and use of VES (Veralto Enterprise System) tools. Perform transitional receiving activities for chemical, equipment, and service purchase orders. Resolve vendor discrepancies related to pricing, quality, delivery, and safety, including root‑cause identification and corrective actions. Manage Blanket Purchase Orders in coordination with Corporate Services, from issuance through renewal or disposition. Maintain system data and reporting (pricing, lead times, dashboards, RMAs/credits) to improve supplier performance and transactional efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain with 1–2 years of purchasing or inventory experience, or 3 years of purchasing, inventory or logistics experience in lieu of a degree. Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience working with an ERP system; Dynamics 365 knowledge preferred. Final compensation may vary based on education, experience, performance, geographic location, and other factors.
