Job Title: Laborer
Job Description

As a laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by maintaining clean and safe work areas, assisting skilled tradespeople, and handling materials and tools efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris, hazards, and obstacles.
• Set up and break down temporary structures such as barricades or scaffolding.
• Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment throughout the job site.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and compactors, under supervision.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, and other trades with tasks such as demolition, framing prep, and cleanup.
• Remove old fixtures, flooring, drywall, and other materials as part of the school renovation.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Perform miscellaneous labor tasks as directed by supervisors to keep the project on schedule.
• Lift up to 100lbs as needed.

• 1+ Years Construction Experience
• Familiarity with basic hand tools

• General labor experience
• Knowledge of construction and production processes
• Experience with power tools
• Basic carpentry skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Helena, MT.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
