CT TechnologistPosition DescriptionUnit Information:Location: Asheville, NCNumber of Beds: 800Type of Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad InjectorsEMR: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACSStaffing Structure:Day Shift: 5 Technologists and SupervisorEvening Shift: 4-5 Technologists and Rad AssistantNight Shift: 2-3 Technologists and Rad AssistantTypical Procedures Performed:Neuro ImagingMusculoskeletal (MSK) ImagingBody ImagingInvasive ProceduresCardiac ImagingPediatric ImagingQualificationsRequired Skills:Expertise in all areas of CT Imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures.Experience in Emergency Department (ED) trauma and stroke imaging.Preferred Skills:Experience with GE equipmentInvasive CT proceduresCardiac Imaging knowledgeVenipuncture skillsBest Personality Fit:The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently. A self-motivated individual is preferred.Certification Requirements:ARRT (R) certification is required.Dress Code:The required scrub color is black.Work Schedule:Typical work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.Weekend shifts may be required occasionally.Possible rotation to another shift may be necessary.Experience:A minimum of 2 years experience is required for this position.
