TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN license required Certifications: Pediatric CVOR experience preferred Must-Have: Pediatric CVOR experience preferred, but at least operating room experience with cardiac patients is required. Description: This position is for a day shift starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 5:00 PM. The team rotates call and utilizes a self-scheduling call schedule for the most part. The unit has 2 pediatric cardiovascular operating rooms. There are a total of 9 staff members on the team, including 4 CST and 5 RNs during the day shift. Night shift staffing is not applicable. The equipment utilized includes EMR Meditech. On-call requirement is a rotational schedule. There is no floating requirement; the team is dedicated to pediatric cardiovascular surgery. Typical procedures performed include open heart surgery on pediatric congenital heart patients, bedside sternal closures, and washout procedures in the ICU. We are looking for high performers with strong teamwork skills. This is a fast-growing pediatric cardiac center with new construction and close working relationships with other specialty teams. It is a dedicated pediatric cardiac service line with a great team environment.
