Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,117 per week

Position Travel Radiology Technologist – Charlotte, North Carolina. Overview Seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist with acute care and trauma experience for a 25‑week travel assignment starting 07/13/2026. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Facility Medical center with 874 licensed beds, Level I Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma, teaching hospital, Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center. Average 350‑400 patients per day. Imaging suites: 40 OR stations with 12 C‑arms and 2 O‑arms; 2 X‑ray rooms and 3 fluoroscopy rooms on 4th floor; 2 ED rooms; 15 portable units. Responsibilities Perform radiographic imaging of head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet and chest for adults and pediatrics, including neonates. Provide portable imaging at bedside and in orthopaedic, general surgery, neuro and pediatric OR suites. Operate C‑arm and, preferably, O‑arm equipment. Use EPIC electronic medical record system. Assist in teaching and precept radiography students as needed. Support clinical staff and collaborate with MD residents, fellows and radiologists. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of acute care radiology experience with Level I, II or III trauma exposure. BLS certification. ARRT‑R credential. Experience in a Level I Trauma, Level I Pediatric Trauma or similar teaching hospital setting. Comfortable working in high acuity, fast‑paced environments. Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation. Support & Resources Lead technologist and 24/7 supervisor for staffing. On‑site radiologists, Rapid Response/Code Team and RT available 24/7. Standard department orientation up to 5 days.

Shift cycle 13 weeks with no weekend‑weekday rotation; call and holiday expectations standard. Shift & Schedule Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Monday through Friday. No weekend‑weekday rotations; travelers work specified shift as per contract. Call requirement: None. Holiday expectation: Work if scheduled. Schedule cycle: 13‑week contract.
