Position Summary

A Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personal care, companionship, and supportive health-related services to clients in their homes under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Job Details

• Position Type: Part-Time

• Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

Qualifications

• Current CHHA, or CNA certification
• Completion of an approved caregiver training program
• Knowledge of basic First Aid and CPR
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from healthcare providers
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and work with diverse clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to safely transfer, move, and reposition clients
• Reliable transportation required; personal vehicle preferred
• Valid driver's license if transportation of clients is required
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the client's care plan
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of clients
• Remind clients to take medications as directed (self-administration only)
• Follow therapy plans and simple care procedures as instructed
• Use equipment and supplies safely and properly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Report any changes in client condition or incidents promptly
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members
