Make a meaningful impact by supporting pre-K children as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the opportunity to help young learners reach their communication milestones in an educational environment, with flexible scheduling for 20+ hours each week.

You’ll primarily work with pre-kindergarten students, providing essential speech therapy services. Each child typically receives around 90 minutes of therapy per week. Currently, two students are already identified for services, and there are nine more in referral—more are expected to be added as the school year progresses.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings
• Knowledge of early childhood developmental milestones and best practices in speech therapy for pre-k children
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to pre-k students according to their individualized plans
• Screen and assess students referred for speech and language concerns
• Develop measurable goals and work collaboratively with educators and families
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with school and district requirements
• Attend team meetings and contribute to IEP development when appropriate
