2nd Shift Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Details Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73129. Position Type: Full Time. Education Level: High School. Salary: $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Travel: None. Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm). Must be available to work. Summary of Position The Sewing Machine Operator will operate and maintain Adler and Miller Weld Master industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric for ducting production. Responsibilities Work with industry experts for production adjustments. Help a team manage time and workload. Perform inventory control tasks, including paperwork and computer-driven transactions. Display a strong work ethic and professionalism in the workplace. Perform any other assigned duties. Qualifications and Requirements Proficiency in reading gauges, using tape measures, and reading specifications. High attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and active listening skills. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift and perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs daily; meet daily warehouse physical demands including grasping, reaching, squatting, climbing, and exposure to temperature, humidity, dust, and fumes. Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting – 100% daily. Ability to learn and think quickly; energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude. Good organizational skills; reliable, dependable, team player; ability to prioritize and manage time. Commitment to work additional hours as needed. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED (required). Manufacturing experience (required). 2+ years industrial sewing experience (highly preferred but not required).
