Forklift OperatorShift: 2ndLocation: Raleigh, NCJob Type: Full Time, HourlyPerks of Pratt:Within 1 Month: Eligible for insurance benefitsAt 3 Months: 401k with partial matchAt 6 Months: Paid vacation daysBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceParental leaveVision insuranceUnbox your career, click apply to start the process!Job DescriptionOverview:Receives product off the main banding line.Checks load tags and either loads the product into the specified trailer(s), or moves product into inventory.Moves product from inventory to machines.Completes the required paper work.Primary Responsibilities:Follow and help to ensure that fellow workers adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.Conduct daily inspections of equipment.Be constantly vigilant and maintain a safe & clean work area.Utilize scanners and ensure inventories are kept accurate.Ensure that all orders produced are moved to the next operation.Handle product to minimize damageOther duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Must be a licensed powered industrial truck operatorMust be able to operate a lift truck safely with minimal product damageMust be able to accurately scan load tags and maintain accurate inventoriesMust be able to read and follow production schedulesRequired Skills:Strong communication skills, both written and verbalIntermediate computer skillsStrong math/algebra skillsProblem solving and critical thinkingEducational Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, not required.Forklift license required.Physical Demands:The employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear.The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.The employee is occasionally required to sit.Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:Work space is not climate controlled and can reach both hot and cold extremes (30 degrees – 110 degrees Fahrenheit).Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
