About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Gift Planning to join its dynamic team. The Executive Director will also oversee a team of professionals, manage a portfolio of prospective donors, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to fundraising. Candidates for the Executive Director of Gift Planning position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising, with a focus on major and planned gifts. A deep understanding of gift planning techniques, tax implications, and legal requirements is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a strategic mindset. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred, in a relevant field. Experience in a higher education or non-profit environment is a plus, as is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation.
