School Maintenance Personnel

Full time 12 month position - Salary Range $35,000-$40,000 + Benefits Part time 12 month position - Salary Range $15/hr. Maintain school facilities and grounds.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and methods, heating systems, etc.
• Previous history of excellent work habits and attendance record.
• Ability to relate well with others.
• Self-motivated-can perform outlined tasks with minimum supervision.
• General knowledge of janitorial supplies and their applications.

Working Conditions:

• Daily work hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (summer hours may vary).
• Position may require evening and/or weekend hours (as mutually agreed upon between principal and employee).
• Must exhibit physical dexterity, mobility, and strength to stoop, lift heavy weights, reach parts and supplies, and perform the essential building and grounds maintenance functions.
• Exposure to climate changes and temperatures.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 15-50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders and scaffolds.
