Leasing AgentOutlook Apartments is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our property management team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and wants to build a career in the multifamily housing industry.As a Leasing Agent, you'll work closely with an experienced team while learning the fundamentals of apartment leasing, resident relations, and property operations. You'll receive guidance and training as you develop the skills needed to succeed and grow within our organization.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Pay - $17-19 hourly.The starting rate is based on experience and qualifications. This position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management propertiesEligible full-time associates are entitled to the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll DoWelcome prospective residents and provide professional tours of available apartments and community amenitiesRespond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in personAssist applicants with completing rental applications and lease documentationConduct credit and background screenings in accordance with company policiesMaintain accurate records of leasing activity, applications, and resident filesAnswer resident questions and direct service requests appropriatelyAssist with marketing efforts to promote community occupancySupport the property management team with daily administrative responsibilitiesDeliver outstanding customer service throughout every resident interactionWhat Makes You SuccessfulHigh school diploma or equivalent0–1 year of customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, or related experienceExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer proficiency, including email and word processing applicationsWillingness to learn and accept coaching from supervisorsPrevious leasing or apartment industry experienceBasic knowledge of Fair Housing laws and rental housing regulationsExperience with property management software such as Yardi or similar platformsYou Know You're Successful When...You're creating a welcoming first impression that makes prospective residents excited to call the community home.
