We are looking for a Technical Trainer/Course Developer to work in San Jose, CA supporting our client.

Overview:

Based in our San Jose office, you will develop and deliver training on industrial products (photolithography equipment). Not only will you prepare lesson plans, but also partner with customers and internal members to implement training as well as maintain equipment in the cleanrooms and training facilities to ensure equipment availability for training and demonstrations.

This position requires full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user training onPhotolithography products both in-house and at customer sites
• Provide classroom and laboratorytraining for internal and external customer training courses that includesbut not limited to operation, preventive maintenance, application, andinstallation aspects of Canon photolithography equipment
• Develop new internal and externaltechnical materials
• Revise existing internal andexternal technical materials to ensure technical materials are current andaccurate
• Verify accuracy of technicalprocedures to support field service technicians and customer needs
• Provide detailed presentations ontechnical topics
• Responsible for operation, andmaintenance of the training facilities and training equipment andpreparation of the instructional site in the San Jose facility
• Participate in discussion groupsas needed, to share technical information andimprove technicalknowledge of less experienced colleagues
• Contact customers to discusstraining needs and acquire feedback from customers on current trainingprograms and systems

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in arelevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of relatedwork experience
• Semiconductor equipment,maintenance knowledge preferred, photolithography equipment knowledgehelpful
• Prior experience as a technicaltrainer preferred
• May require up to 50% travelwithin the US (valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordnecessary). Additionally, because this position requires driving forcompany business as an essential function of the job, must remain incompliance with company safety guidelines and policies
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, andPowerPoint

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The worker is required to have close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working in office environment and also in cleanroom environment (wearing full clean room suit, facemask, gloves, safety glasses)

Must Have

• Instructor experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of related work experience.

• Field Service exp
• Semiconductor process related exp
• Semiconductor industry experience
• Experience - Hardware technical background (robot replacement), Hands on experience

Additional Information

• Train customers and Eng. techs

• Classroom setting, clean room for training. Mostly in person training, some virtual
• 70% training/30% course development
• 30% travel - 80% of it is domestic (1 week or more per month).Domestic or intl trips 1-2 weeks long. Intl only 1-2 x year
