Position: Cook (Part-Time)
Location: Rahway, NJ
Shift: Part-Time – Afternoon Shift
Salary: $18 per hour

Adroit Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is dedicated to providing compassionate care and high-quality services to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our dietary team. In this role, you will play an important part in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, delicious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with facility menus and dietary guidelines.

• Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards are maintained.

• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide efficient and high-quality meal service.

• Follow modified diets and adapt meals to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.

• Prior cooking experience in a nursing home, healthcare facility, or similar setting preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and batch cooking techniques.

• Ability to follow menus and dietary restrictions accurately.

• A genuine passion for preparing meals that support residents’ health and well-being.
