Educational Interpreter - Beginning School Year 2026/2027

General Purpose Part‑time Educational Interpreter – responsibilities include providing voice‑to‑sign and sign‑to‑voice interpreting for students, staff, and others to assist students in accessing their education, tutoring, providing assistance to students who are deaf, and assisting with instruction and supervision of students. Requirements / Qualifications Proof of CPR Certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days. RID certification preferred. Valid California driver’s license. Required Documents Certification: completion of an accredited college‑level interpreter training program is required. Letter of Introduction. Other (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), or equivalent assessment certification with a score of 4.0 or higher). Resume. Test Results/Materials: Educational Interpreter Written Assessment or equivalent assessment certification with a pass/fail score of 75% or higher.
