Acclaim Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our food services team. This role is essential in helping provide residents with quality meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Report to work at the assigned time, in proper uniform, and ready for duty

• Handle food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures

• Follow all safety regulations while operating kitchen equipment

• Deliver food carts, trays, and meal items to resident rooms and dining areas

• Serve meals in dining rooms

• Prepare and distribute snacks as directed

• Assist with daily and scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with facility policies

• Report discrepancies or concerns to the department supervisor

• Provide residents and families with excellent customer service in a compassionate environment

• Perform related duties as assigned by the Food Services Director

• Support various dietary department tasks based on facility needs

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to make independent decisions when needed

• Must maintain cleanliness and proper use of supplies, equipment, and work areas

• Ability to inspect food service areas for sanitation, safety, and proper performance of duties

• Willingness to learn new methods and incorporate best practices into food service operations

• Nursing home experience preferred
