Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer As a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer you can be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of the communities we represent. This role offers the opportunity to lead and direct the design of water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection projects, manage project scope, schedule, and budgets, and provide technical direction to a team of design engineers and technical staff. Location and Work Arrangement This position may be based in any Ohio office as a hybrid role collaborating with team members in other offices. Responsibilities Lead and direct design of water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection projects from the planning and design phases Create, manage, and develop projects to meet desired scope, schedule, and budgets Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications Prepare project cost estimates and schedules Provide overall supervision and technical direction and expertise to a team of design engineers and technical staff Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams Interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff Interact with regulatory agencies Support or lead preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits Client management and development Qualifications Bachelor’s in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering 6+ years’ experience in water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager Current PE license in OH is required Experience working with municipal and private clients Understanding of state and federal funding opportunities for projects Experience in regulatory compliance requirements and permitting Strong team leadership experience or proven potential, including managing project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring Excellent technical skills in the water/wastewater/treatment/distribution/collection practice area Salary Starting salary is $110,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
